site agent vs tanking

having recently converted site agent to sbr and powdered addy, I thought i might push my luck and try to get him to use a tanking system as well.His response was, quite correctly, that'd we'd never had a failure yet without tanking. Obviously I replied "Yet". These builds range from £500,000 to £2.5million, I know price of houses shouldn't come into it,but I was wondering how far to push him. Don't want to nuisance him to much as I get all their tiling work.What sort of price can I give him to tank out on average a 30sqm room? cheers guys

they're all plasterboard with ply overlay floors Dave, I don't know, I just thought in for a penny sort of thing

Just tank the area's that are in contact with constant wetting...unless a wetroom of course..
