Slate Floor

Going to see a floor job at the weekend, 45m2 of 300x300 Brazilain slate. I was thinking around £40-40 m2, suggestions please. Theres two on-suite bathrooms as well, so don't want to shoot myself in the foot!

hi fred, I would charge £45 sqm. If the slate is uncalibrated then maybe more. Takes a lot longer and more adhesive

hi, if you have space in the diary then make sure you get the job. Charge labour at what you'd be happy to get and mats on top so you dont lose out on that. Happy days. Works work, as long as your happy and covered yourself.

we tiled the st andrews golf club hotel in brazilian slate its lovley, was about 600sq meters and i was just an apprentice at the time, it was all different sizes and we used a sand/cement mix for it and grout, its lovley stuff, im not sure on a price tho but that would seem about rite
