Slate patio tiles

Hiya, first post and after some basic advice. We're half way through tiling our patio with these tiles:
Vijaya Gold Natural Slate Paving Patio Pack Bradstone 10.20 m2 Per Pack - from Simply Paving
I've seen lots of info about using sealing products to enhance the colour of natural slate, but I'm not sure if this only for indoor tiles? I'd really like to put something on them to enhance the colour, but not sure if you can do this on a patio? Any advice/ recommendations greatly appreciated.

Colour enhancers are normally topical sealers as far as I know, which means they sit "on top" of the surface and not penetrate into them. This could cause problems with frost so proceed with caution.
