SLC vs Thick bed adhesive

in the end i couldn't ignore all the SLC advice so i've gone that route. poured the SLC today and it was actually easier than expected. will definitely be easier to tile now.

are you a tiler or a DIY'er ?????

i'm a developer / designer who likes to do his own tiling and other finishing when the job is worth it

weber.floor flex - Weber, world?s leading manufacturer of industrial mortars for the facade, tile fixing and construction markets

i invested in a line laser a month or so ago and that proved useful for levelling the SLC too. just poured and spot checked the level as i went.
