in the end i couldn't ignore all the SLC advice so i've gone that route. poured the SLC today and it was actually easier than expected. will definitely be easier to tile now.

are you a tiler or a DIY'er ?????
neither :)

i'm a developer / designer who likes to do his own tiling and other finishing when the job is worth it ;)
