Slightly confused how many tiles i need?

Hi guys this is a really basic question but......i am tiling a L-Shape bathroom....2m long x2m wide with a bath and a cubicle on the same wall..........approx just under 5m2......the width at the edge of the bath to the wall is 1m...i have been asked to fit black and white tiles in a patchwork pattern.....is it basically just 2.5m2 of each colour or would i be best to draw it out?....tiles are 300 x 300.....never tiles in this pattern before always just the same tile!

I'd buy 3m's of each to allow for cuts.

300x300 tiles=11.1 tiles per m2 x5=55.5+10%wastage=5.55+55.5=61.05 no.of tiles divide by 2=30.52no.of each tile...:smilewinkgrin:

or as ali said just get 3m2 of each...:lol:
