Seriously now...

I'd wet it first. If it's one of them glassfiber tubs from china, you deffo need to be careful. If it's proper enameled metal, you should be in the clear as long as what you use to scrape isn't harder than the surface. If it's cast marble, DO NOT use abrasive and/or strong cleaners when cleaning any left overs.
