small power chisels/carving

Hi, looking for a small power chisel tool =not a dremel, i use exakt saws and fein supercuts which are very good however they are a bit slow for cutting out hard as nails screed.

wonder if anyone had come across any mini chisels ( i have larger Makita's for taking out big runs of screed /concrete) need something to get into narrow runs e.g six inch wide up to a couple of feet long = usually wre somepne has put pipes in etc through a victorian floor.

i know Arbortex do some small gear, just finished longish contract in Lincoln and the tiles that had been damaged were triangles base 3inch 6x6 and 6x3 the screed i had to chop up was like steel and took ages with my usual kit plus hammer & chisel.

Let me know if anyone has seen or heard of small power chisels cheers Steve

Thanks i already have 3 of those too powerful vibrations make more tiles loose, need something smaller to control amount chipped off.

I'm restoring tiled floors so they are old and to much vibration /impact could remove or loosen them.

dont know if this will be of any use tenchman,have you considered looking at stonemasons chisels? very small some of them obviously they arent for power tools but hand held they may help you out?

I'm a tyler-mason by trade thanks for thought , i have a full set of chisels they are good for tiny cutting out on small triangles etc. just could do the job quicker with small hand held like stone carvers use but not an air tool they are quite bulky with a compressor etc.

Could you go to a black smith and have some tools made to work in a good sds hammer drill or something like that

the Hilti rang you will find some models with a speed dial on them you just drop the speed down and lift tiles slowly quite handy at times
