Small tiling job

Hi gang
Went to look at a very small job the other day- 1.4m by half a meter splash back. The wall has 5 plug sockets which are pulled out at the moment (the guy is a spark) and two casings for downlights which he can also pull out so that they can be tiled behind.
The tiles are 30mm mosaic tiles on 300mm sheets calles Montage Quartzite Squares - slate green effect from B&Q. On the box it says they need sealing. Can anyone tell me what these tiles are or if quartzite is the actual name of the stone (excuse my ignorance)? Or what type of stone this is if not and what sealer to use .... it has shiny flecks like glitter.
Also as its such a small area I was going to price it as £100 inclunding mats and sealing it. Does this sound reasonable or too cheep/expensive?
I only ask because every quote I give I never seem to get the job so want be sure I have got my pricing right. Thanks

for a splash back would be a \day rate... i dont know what you charge for day rate but i normally charge £150 inc mats.. but if it need sealing charge bit more

aye a day rate also even tho its a small splashback your using mosaics which need sealed which will take a day. prob 140 to 160

i would normally quote a day rate too but as you seem to be losing out on work at the moment maybe a go in a bit lower but dont go too low cause if you get recommendations from it, people might be looking for lower prices from you all the time!

Next question: Should I seal before or after fixing? I'm thinking fix, seal, grout, seal again? What do you guys think? BTW I went in at £130 inc mats. We'll see!

sibs i always seal 1st as i find if your goin to be tiling walls the sealer simply runs down the walls and that could end in complete disaster if not removed properly also i dont beleive it seals it properly, sealing your tiles flat allows the sealer to soak in /penertrate properly,sometimes i give 2 or 3 coats dependin on what thew stone is taking before fixing anything.cheers mate
