smelly levelling compound

I had a nice lie in this morning then went to my tuesday job to level a bit of the dining room floor.
The customers have supplied everything so i used 4 bags of evostik levelling compound !!!!!!:yikes:
The house was high,the smell of this stuff was absolutely rotten!!!!!!!!!!
all windows open and doors !
still stinking as i left,hopefully by tuesday it'll be cleared....:smilewinkgrin:

Never tried that but Evostick is smelly stuff anyway.
What i did use recently was Wickes brand high performance leveller....says it can be used on ply.......very nice stuff it was

Joe - I bet you were flavour of the month with that household for Easter!
Some levellers do smell of amonia (cats pee).
Yet Mapei Fibreplan is OK.

Thats exactly what it smelt like John,
the man in this house doesn't be well either and he didn't look good when i left !!
hope he is ok now.
I usually use mapei ultraplan and even used levelflex last week,no such smells there.

Joe,
That 2 part flexi evostick SLC stinks alright. Used a fair bit of it as i get it for a tenner. Only use it in an empty house though. Be careful it wont be off the next morning in cold weather if done late in the day.
