Cant get to work ( bathroom refurb , fully tiled) because of snow and some roads are closed , the bad part is the jobs 70 miles away in Dundee , the customers toilet is out of action due to floor being screeded over the ufh, and that is their is only toilet :yikes: half my tools are up there as well and to cap it all the weather forecast looks grim . Anybody else suffering? :xmas:

Im in West Lothian and the snow is knee deep!

Was doing a job today for a tiling company i work for occasionally,they dropped all the materials off at the property at 8am i arrived at 9am to start,gets my lines round opens up a tub of adhesive to find it frozen solid,had to wait until 11am for the to get back with some adhesive i could use,bloody hate cold weather.

Howling winds and driving rain here, bins blowing over, all that fun, all the snow is gone and my little studio shed is shaking about as if it was about to take off!!! Prefer the quiet peaceful snow, and sparkling cold blue sky days are ok, too.... the roads are going to be a black ice rink tonight!!!....

I escaped to work this morning luckily enough,spent morning laying ditra and doing 3 real awkward cuts in heavy tiles, first tile down at 12 o'clock then 14m2 by pm.
Slow job but good money.
