Hi
Thanks for all the helpful info on this forum and for the very useful posts
I am about to embark on the final project of our renovation, I have part tiled the bathroom floor and will be ready to start the walls. As I have mentioned in a previous post they will be part tiled on three walls and full tiled on two. We are using 200mm x 100mm (Metro?) white tiles and have decided to go for a brick effect with a small mosaic 'accent'. Proposing to tile from floor up as this will give us full tiles to the accent on the half walls and almost a full tile at the top on the full, (hope this makes sense?!)
Now onto my questions
By starting at the bottom this will leave about a third of a tile up to the window (attached piccy)
Is this ok or should we re-plan the whole tiling to have a cut at the bottom of equal size to the cut at the window?
I have built a small partition wall for the shower, which is Marmox and sealed and I intend to full tile this and 'wrap' around the wall. As its a brick effect should I continue or just use 1 tile per row? Again attached piccy to help!
Finally! Should I use trim on the external corners and above the mosaic to finish off, or how do you pro's do it and any recommendations!? Oh and planning on using 4mm spacers (Same as floor), ok or better using 2mm?
Thanks again and look forward to any input
Cheers
Rusty
