Some help with Kitchen floor price

ok here goes....

9 m2 600 x 600 porcelain (unpolished) slighlty awkward 'U' shape kitchen, tiling only as customer providing all materials.

Prep: 3 doors need triming, 1 of which is an extreamly heavy looking exterior timber door! Plinths may also need trimed!?
also suply and fit 2 threshold transition strips

I priced this at £350.

it's 96 square feet

If based on £160 per day I'd say thats about 2/2.5 days work so £320-£400 would be my price.

I would say it's about right, I would try them with the, get your / a joiner to do the woodwork, I have done, and still do some, when the need arises but find it's more time than it's worth imho

Do you know a joiner, you could sub the work out to them, just a thought, if the door is bothering you then maybe it's best left.

Yeah dave, insured for minor plumbing aswell!

Charlie, there is a good chance that door is Oak and they are solid and harder to cut than standard interior doors. Unless you have a good circular saw, I would use an electric planer to take the door down to size.

I think your price sound fair for tiling but, I would add more for the doors if I could (if it was me)

I havent seen the job obviously but I would imagine there will be a draughpt excluder or rain defflector etc on this door which will all need to go back on and if its oak you will need to drill pilot holes rather than just screwing directly into the door.

Yeah tfs, draught excluder attatched and will need to be removed prior to cutting! I thought my price was fair considering the technical difficulties in this one, who knows, we will see if he gets back to me! i priced for half day prep work!
