Currently on a job, 2 new builds & a donor house for a renovation.
In the 2 houses I've completed 4 Wetrooms , 3 bathrooms a kitchen & still to complete 150/160m2 of floor tiling.
I was meant to be doing 4 bathrooms in the renovation house but running out of time & the builder got in a local independent tile shop & tiler to complete the job.
Got a quick look at the standard of work today, shocking isn't the word, tiler isn't very quick either.
Setting out terrible, tiling terrible, prep terrible, the list goes on.
He's fixing 500x330 ceramics & this is what they are using,

Read the back of the tub & was shocked at what I saw.
Then spied this sitting,

This is the cut at the top of the widow for the header,

Time will tell if they get to finish the job.

I was on a job recently, i posted on here about it. A customer i was doing some geometric work in the hallway, and a plumber/tiler/electrician/builder/painter/plasterer/landscape gardner/mobile phone specialist, you get the idea. He was using the same pva, tubbed addy, but fixing 600 x 400 x 15 marble to plaster walls. This was around 6 - 8 weeks ago. Customer has now fallen out with this bodger, I have now got to go back and give them a price to rectify his work. Every dog has it's day. The sad thing is this guy is flat out busy. Go figure.
Shocking work though Stef.

It annoys the life out of me, this standard of work is terrible & they seem to keep getting the work.
The guy that owns this company wanted me to tile for him years ago & I declined his offer as money was rubbish & he had a bad rep back then but he's still in the game churning out the same rubbish.
