Was asked to lay a crazy paving floor and this is the result. Will do final clean up on Monday and last coat of sealer.

Not grout but cement mix using builders dye the stuff for harling walls. Mixed to my high standards (guess work) Came up all right. Customer is delighted but was hard work like laying a floor twice you first dry lay then lift and then lay not forgetting what bit goes where.

This was for my mate that sells Pioneer Log Homes Uk these are the real log houses http://www.pioneerlog.co.uk/ for his cutomer and he now has another customer thinking about having 200m2 of this through his house. Think I have created my own monster LOL.

Nice one Lander....lol:lol:

Very nice work Gary... but not my taste! 🙂

Was it "cementone" the die for the cement?

Got the dye from my mate in poly bag lol dodgy or what

Actually used HG impregnator on this one Kev it is drinking the bloody stuff to expensive to use Aqua on this one lol. It will need another two coats I think and it should be sound. Not my cup of tea either but it is what the guy wanted and he is paying well for it. Laid quartzrite in the main house as well a while back again not my cup of tea but the guy wanted the rustic look. Also put wetroom floor in this job as well as wetroom for his sauna.

Cheers,

Looks a good job well done there mate

How does crazy paving come then, may be a stupid question like, but do you just get the bits in pieces and just lay them out to make the crazy effect, or do you break them up "which I would guess not really".
