is this sticky ok to use on plywood?ive been asked to do a display in 6 " x 6" tiles of a company logo so it can be hung in reception.

never had blue top mate but red and black fine

if its just gripfast then thats ok 2

make sure prime the ply first tho

can cause the addy to dry to quickly by soaking moisture into the ply

general rule is if in doubt prime it out

not pva but accrylic primer like pci primer g

sontex grip fast is not any good for tiling onto plywood..........You will need something like whitestar or a flexible cement adhesive...........

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but generaly the ply could flex and the tiles will fall off as there is no flexibility in the adhesive !

thanks to all for the advice i will no better next time.i wasnt sure in the first place so had custemer phone ctd up and they said it was ok to use.i have enough tiles to do the job again so i think for the sake of a mornings work i am going to start again.there could be more work to come from this.it might not be monday though as its tyne wear derby week and whatever the result i no im not going to make monday.and lets not forget its saint georges day:mad2: cheers

ultramastic III from mapei works well

They won't stop on jim...take them off and re-do with a flexi adhesive suitable for ply.........
