I had the misfortune of using this stuff today. I did a small kitchen splashback and this is what the customer supplied. After it had been open for about 15 mins it seemed like it had gone off in the bucket. I had to restir it constantly. Anybody else had the misfortune to use it? I won't be going near it again

I used it many years ago and it was middling...obviously got worse .....Gaz

i have used it recently and had no probs..might have been near its end of shelf life.......dave..

good point dh...I have stacks of adhesives which get new stock put on top.....the bottom layer will never be used(shouldn't be)always pick from the top..you would anyway..check the dates and manufac recommendations......Gaz

Thats because Glasgow tilers like it stiff mate-i sell SONTEX ACRYLIC and if I get a pallet of 'soft mix' it causes uproar-according to the rep the English like it softer :happy:

i use sontex acrylic and have never really had a problem except getting the tub 3/4 full lol .Ithink the reaper72 was trying to stretch his profit.lol:wink_smile:
