HI Scott and welcome

As a tiler I use mainly my finger and soapy water sprayed on using a spray bottle. If you havent done this much before as there is a slight skill to it and you want the best finish then I would suggest masking taping the area to silicione. along both surfaces, this will give you a nice straight edge to the Silicon.

Line the Silicon, then either using a soapy finger or spit run your finger along the Silicon using even pressure. Remove the masking tape as soon as you have done this though and before it skins.

You might want to do one line at a time.

Alternatively you can buy a Silicon profiling tool, Wickes sell a good one but if your new still use the masking tape method. I prefer my finger as you can feel the correct pressure to apply etc.

Ive found Screw-fixes no nonsense brand easy to use and cheap enough.

Bit expensive for a one-off but Karl Dahm do a beauty, cost you a tenner but is really good.

Thanks for the advice guys

Would i Silicon round where the tile meets the pvc window or just grout ?

Cheers

Not to doubt anyones techiques but the masking tape can pull the Silicon out and then you have a mess on your hands. The tools I've used are only as good as any bit of rubber or plastic you find the same shape in the garage, and you'll end up finishing off with your finger anyway.
IMO, get the nozzle in there, keep it constant and at a 35%, once all is done get your soapy spray, give it a good spray (making sure all the Silicon is right in or the soapy water will pull it off) and use your little finger in the same way you used the nozzle.

I use the the tool from trade tiler, wouldn't do it with anything else, cant see how anybody can do this neater with there finger. I do alot of work for kitchen fitters and bathroom fitters and if they get anybody else to do there tiling if im to busy, they always get me to do there Silicon work, is a piece of p*** i love it...

Also make sure the Silicon is high modulus as this will help with mould etc....( sanitary grade)...............dave..
