Spot on,
Pour, spiked roller and then a quick steady glide over the surface with the speed skim ;0)
If it's a big floor, get the 1.2m version with the pole adapter.

Depends what stuff you're using. Some fibre modified ones don't recommend a spiked roller

I don't rate speed skims, I'd rather use a steel spatula because plastic has a tendency to warp and lose its shape but it all down to personal preference.

No mate, I just use refina spats but I hear some plasterers raving about eze spats. They just seem a bit expensive for what they actually do imho.
