I bought Stabila 1800mm, 600mm, torpedo, key ring level and 3 pencils for 38 quid plus the vodka I thought hat was good. But what ever ya do do do not buy Site crap from a well known supplier my mate went to buy a load of stuff from the trade counter and was really fed up cos non in stock but said! The only good thing i got today was this 1800mm level if we had trusted the sodding thing it would have cost a lot of time and money. :furious3:

Not upside down though, you will find the accuracy drops to 0.75mm/M! Trivial I know but makes for a discussion!

So if i am marking a line and after the first metre turn my level upside down for the next metre to compensate for the 0.5mm loss i will over correct by 0.25mm?

Potentially yes. You need to bear in mind that these figures are tolerances for the product. These levels may well be absolutely spot on either way up, but the manufacturers give themselves a bit of leeway by saying the most they will be out is......??mm/M.

However if you don't turn the level over, just rotate it end to end, you will bring your level back into line.

i've got some plastic ones from b&q, easy to wipe adesive off them and no chance of marking tiles
