Splashback socket question

I'm tiling a splashy and one of the sockets (a double one) is half inside the tiled area with the other half out.
Obviously on sockets I tile behind and fit back with long electrical screws but what are my options here?
I'm guessing extremely neat accurate cuts is the only way to go.

All you can do is make good cuts up to the socket................if there is No way the tiles can be taken around the socket ?

Can you not get the socket moved completely outside the area?

No Grumpy, socket and area tiled is fixed and non negotiable.

Then tiling upto the half socket neatly cut around is the only option.

This one comes up a fair bit. The only nice looking solution is either sockets above the tile. Or sockets within the tile.

At least in this photo above they had the right thinking to go above the tile. I guess you have to cut out the tile to the shape of the socket and Silicon round it.

Will they go for an extra course?

I wouldn't cut around it....tell the customer it will look crap and to make a professional decision...one row above or below or move socket.......if that socket was to fail then they will have to remove tiles to replace it........

Shame because even the cheap kitchens have sockets inside the tile. But as your customer is fixed then its their problem

Just cut it neatly with 2mm behind the socket or something and stop where it finishes
