Split Face Tiles - Advice On Grouting Split-face Tiles?

We were on about this tile the other month, Laga Natural ( by the look of it ) it was after it took another fixer 8 ( eight ) hours to clean off after grouting normally, I went out and bought a grout gun for this reason, and went down the joints only, still a royal pain, you WILL need lots of sponges as the rough surface eats them.

Best of luck 😀

When fixing these before I have grouted as normal with a float, but point it in the joint almost, using the end of the float. Wipe and clean as usual but go over it when fully set with an epoxy sponge or emulsifying pad using some grout stain remover and it comes up a treat! Not the quickest of jobs, but makes the job a bit easier 😉

I think I'd just outright refuse to fix them.

I don't think they look nice enough to be worth the hassle. And other than it close to the time of getting paid, grouting sucks.

I have only done them the once.......nightmare to grout & silicon. Customer loved them......I thought they looked cack.

Just an update. They're not as severe as I first thought from the photo. However the tiles are as CJ put cack, cheap wickes stuff. Tiles different sizes. I've fixed them horizontally and the Middle of the tile top to bottom is bigger the the left and the right sides, which is always handy.
