Starting my own cook book......see what you think

As i have had a bit of time on my hands this last week, I have taken over the role that my good lady wife would normally do ( I do help though Honestly).

So i thought i would enthrall you all with my culinary skills. :yikes:

So tonight my 2 children have sat down to a tea of:

Broiled chicken breast filled with rosemary butter then flash fried in olive oil(very small amount) just to brown the outside.

served on a bed of sauteed savoy cabbage and bacon
creme fraiche mashed potatoe, steamed carrots and broccoli.

with a white wine, rosemary and ****aki mushroom sauce.


now for the hoovering

I was in a bit f a rush tonight so it was chicken kievs, chips and beans, will make a better effort tomorrow.

I made Harrison porridge for his breakfast (Gabriel hates it), normally he has syrup in it, but because Gabriel was having toast with lemon curd on it, H wanted lemon curd in his porridge instead, it tasted allright too!

lamb dinner here tonight. fresh lamb chops direct from the abattoir that supplies local butchers this morning. roast potatoes roasted in butter and garlic, along with the parsnips. carrots, leeks and sprouts, and a nice meaty lamb gravy :drool5:

I always try the dog's dry dog food if we've bought a new brand/flavour before putting it in the bowl. if it tastes horrible I still put it in :lol:
