just tried and yes im back!!! thanks for the good words Deano,you are a top bloke IMO, and if i can be of any HELP kilty i would love to offer you my knowledge and even help!! we will be in scotland after christmas up near ELGIN i have emptied my PM thing now!! and if anyone that is a forum member would like any help in this sort of area swimming pools i would do my best for you guys in advice or even help on the job if needed, ps i would never steal your work either guys that is not my way,

Hi Kilty, I don't remember the exact pricing for the bundle, but my buddy was going to have to spend $300 or more to get the small piece he'd need for the project, and then gamble on being able to use the rest of them on other jobs. I don't think it's good marketing on Schluter's part, but they haven't asked for my advice yet.:lol:

The way we do curved benches is to build them close to the final shape with block and brick, and then float mortar over it to get the final shape, using a plywood template on the top as a guide for the straightedge. It's a lot of work.

i still use this method rob in concrete spa's and for any pool firm that requires this type of work, but lots of steam rooms are now cement board built, with seating the same , pluce lots of vaulted ceiling work
