Can anyone give advice on tiling steps with quarry tiles. If the step does not but up to wall on each side then i would require a corner tile at each side, but then the setting out of the other tiles would be dictated by this which would mean there is a high probability that one of the middle tiles would have to be cut to fit.

Im windering if i need the corner or the bullnose tiles and if i could just make my own with my bridge cutter?

What do you think guy's

Did you cut the inside of the corner tiles to suit grumps?

Yes mate, no other way as far as I know, unless you manipulate the grout joint size to eliminate 1 tile width and get it to fit that way.

grumpy , could you not have got full tiles across the steps, even if you stretched the grout lines a bit , not critisizing just wondering mate..

nice job Russ,im with you on this one cut the re-x's to suit.

I normally try and lose the difference in the grout gap, so that all tiles look the same size.

Could you I not make bullnose and corners from normal tiles using a very good quality bridge cutter?
