Building Adhesives LTD continues donation tradition for Stoke children's charity
Giving much-needed money to help the work of a deserving local charity clearly has a higher priority than sending seasonal greetings cards to customers and suppliers. That’s the now-traditional view of Stoke-on-Trent based Building Adhesives Limited, leading UK manufacturers of professional tiling adhesives under the BAL and Dunlop brand names.
The company’s adopted charity is the Donna Louise Trust, which is also based in Stoke-on-Trent. The Trust provides a hospice for children who, because of illness or injury, are not expected to live beyond their teenage years.
This year’s cheque for £12,500 was presented by Emma Aust, Head of Human Resources for Building Adhesives to Liz Reynolds, representing the Trust, at an informal ceremony this afternoon at the company’s Trentham headquarters.
Building Adhesives Managing Director, David O’Neill, says the company is delighted to be supporting the charity once again: “ As before, we have taken the opportunity to make our customers and suppliers aware of the Donna Louise Trust, whose wonderful work deserves great admiration and continuing support. At Building Adhesives, we are pleased to be able to contribute in this way with a substantially increased donation this year – and to all those within the Trust who generously give their time, skill and care to such a worthy cause, we offer our renewed good wishes.“
