Stone Firms gone into Administration

Client called me this morning and said have you placed the order for the stone yet? I said no going to do it later...you wont he said they've gone into administration.

Sometimes I dont understand how these things can happen, but then I thought about the last order I placed and the one I was about to place and was told a lead in time of 10 weeks! Its then I start to understand why things go wrong for some companies, you may have a fantastic product, but no one wants to wait 70 days+ for a delivery.

I think a few more will go bump before we we hear a lot less of this like the good old days a few years ago.

Very sad to hear.

Bankers should bankroll any shortfall of any business that's been directly affected by their dodgy wrong doings. It'll never happen though.

I did a translation for them years and years ago... and they took ages to pay me ... I remember the aggro... oh well...
