[TT Tiling]

hi used for the first time this weekend some stonefix , found the flexly add very good , does wot it said on the bag ,but a big let down was the grout , i might just as well gone down the beach got a bucket of sand , didnt get on with it at all , any one else used it before , shame the add was great lol

i tend to prefer bal grout for it's workability(except charcoal) even though it doesn't stand up to mapei's diversity in colours,only the cheaper brands of addy do i find problems with except toppfix

Which grout was it? The flexi SP or the fine wall&floor?

What's the crack with these now because they did go bust but they seem to have popped back up, I heard a rumour that a member of the management was going to start it up again.

hi it was the flexi grout ,more like flexi sand ,still dont know till you try lol:smilewinkgrin:

Indeed, maybe it worth trying the fine wall and floor grout? Its for fine joints ( 1mm-10mm) and soft face tiles. Havnt tryed it myself but Id imagine it would be better than using sand from the beach.
