Stratum Tiles

I'm considering using Stratum tiles in my shower. A waterproof matting is used underneath but my tiler is worried that these tiles are butted up close together so there is minimal grout and would like to have a 1mm grout. I love the 'butted up' look but has anyone had any problems with this?

I've done these tiles on a feature wall. I wouldn't put them in the shower butted up

I dont understand why topps advise butting up. A tiler I know used 1mm lines and had a nightmare grouting and even more so cleaning it.

I used 2mm joints in a shower area and they are a bugger to keep clean....

I wouldnt advise these tiles being used in a wet area.

These are stratum tiles.

They are 1 of the worst tiles I have worked with.
Make sure your shower is tanked if you are fitting in a wet area.
Grouting them with your finger (as topps recommend) is a real pain & so is clean up.

I was also considering using these stratum tiles in my wet area but was planning on using Silicon rather than grout what are you thoughts on this?
