Hi all,
We live in the area of Westerham/Edenbridge. Our house was build 4 years ago and in the past couple years we have long cracks appearing in our kitchen, hallway, dining area, utility and bathroom. We have more than 50 tiles cracked over an area of ~90 sqm. Our Building Insurance has already concluded that the cracks in the tiles are structural but before ripping out the tiles and putting new ones, we first need to know the root cause of this problem so it doesn't manifest itself again.
We are now looking for a structural engineer or specialised company that can help us identify the cause of the issue.
We have several suspicions (never floor, underfloor heating switched on without letting the screed set properly, wrong screen mix, etc...) but nothing confirmed.
If your company is from the Surrey/Kent area and can help us with this problem, please feel free to post a reply and we will contact you.
Regards,
Mike
