DEN

I have read a few posts on here regarding newbies not getting any work even though they have advertised through phone books, distributed leaflets and so forth.Just a few words of encouragement to say keep on plugging away and i am sure you will start getting plenty of work.
Remember it takes only one job to get lots of referrals for other work, you have to keep a positive attitude no matter how hard and difficult things seem to be.
Keep trying different ways to try and get business i.e more leaflets, phone calls to various companies etc etc,
Do not be discouraged
Remember always have a P.M.A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE!!!
Now go and get that job "IT'S OUT THERE"

Just my twopenneth...

Door to door leaflets is a real pain in the butt - but they WORK!!!

I was out front last week jet washing my drive in a world of my own, guy walks past me "I'll stick this in the door..."... "Oh, by the way, just a tip get some silver sand and spread it over the drive when you have finished..."

Umm - I was greatful - being a nosey sod headed for the door to see what he was delivering - "Garden Services, hedges, fencing blah blah blah..."

I needed a quote or some fencing, too much trouble to get it done but constant ear ache from er in doors...

Call "Garden Services" - he is back within 5 mins - quoted - starts tomorrow!!!

OK - it is not going to be like that all the time but like the Lottery - You have to be i it to win it!!

All the best
