Working in an old church that's currently being converted, have been asked to tile a disabled toilet and kitchen floor, on lifting the lino and hardboard found a load of old news papers...noticed one advert to watch the world cup on your own tv...found a few more pages and a date, it was only July 1966.

I was 10 then so watched the world cup when we won....

I was minus 3...still a glint mad though when you uncover something uncanny like that, the further I peel back the floor the later the date so might get to the one where we won, just need an original program under there and I've hit the jackpot

I was 2months.........Ah,I remember it well!
On a recent bathroom refurb I found a local paper underneath the old shower tray dated 1992,the year the house was built. Read it,recognise a few names and faces and put it back underneath the new shower tray with a new edition of the same paper

I was 2 and a half ...was once working in a loft and a News of the World was stuffed in the eaves, date was my birth date, 1/12/63,, headlines were JFK assassination

Working at a house and the owner showed an old newspaper which she had recently found in the loft.
