could anyone help me here,just done my first job using travertine tiles,should i seal them before grouting or after,not to sure

Tam - I always seal Honed Travertine before I grout. Make sure they are spotlessly clean and dry!
What sealer are you using.
What colour grout/make.
What type of travertine is it.
After grouting I seal again - when the trav is clean and dry.

Tam - as soon as its dry - say 30mins.
But you must not seal on damp tiles. They must be clean and DRY.

if it is your first job i would seal before tiling unless you are sure you can work cleanly otherwise samme as above

I tend to seal after tiling, unless they are honed and filled in which case it's six of one, half a dozen of the other

Go with what Timeless John says always works for me, However i do use a cleaner to draw the dust out from the travertine tiles before i seal them, but make sure thay are dry before you seal them
