Tanking for a showerbase

Hi All,
I'm a newbie to this forum so I apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.
I currently coming to towards the end of a big project which was caused by major shower cubical water leak taking out floorboards, timber joists and half the cubical tiling and plaster etc. The joists and floor are now replaced and for the floor I have used 22mm waterproofed T&G chipboard for the whole bathroom floor. The walls have all been made good and replastered where necessary.
I am now at the stage of re-tiling and putting in the showerbase, which is a 900mmX1500mm Ronal marblelite one.
I want to make sure the area is "tanked" and completely waterproof beforehand.
I have read loads of blogs, viewed loads of videos, and feel completely lost as to what would be the best solution for me to use.
It has taken me 6 months to get this far (I only get a few hours at the weekends to do this and I haven't the budget to get someone in to do it) and so I want to make sure I get this bit right.
Would really appreciate any advice on the best way to approach this and any suggestions as to what would be the best products to use.

I noticed the trays have a lip that should bedded into the wall which should make tanking easier, am I correct saying thats how your tray is..

:welcome: It's always going to be a personal choice and costs sometimes comes into it. For me I'd cover your chipboard (waterproof or not) and assuming its deflection free, I'd cover with a waterproof tile backer board and use the Impey Tilesafe system.

I know the sort you mean, however this one doesn't have that feature, and the very brief diagram only installation guide shows that it should be installed up against the tiles then using a Silicon bead along the edge to seal the joint.

Thats ok if the walls are square....
