Discuss Tanking on bonding coat in the Canada Tile Advice area at TilersForums.com.

I'll start by saying that I'm not actually going to do this, I was just wondering if anyone thinks it is a feasible idea. If the bonding coat is primed and then tanked with a liquid membrane, will it then become a suitable substrate to tile to? In my mind, I can't think of a reason for it not to work, it just doesn't seem right.
