My mother knocked over a frying pan with hot grease in it, and it severely burned my sister's arm. This was in about 1969 and the plastic surgeons did what they could, but my sister's arm was scarred badly enough that it my mother could never forgive herself. My sister had long since forgotten about it and doesn't even think of the scar now until someone mentions it, but mom agonized over this up until her last days.

I've done a few really stupid things while driving and with the kids in the car. Later (and even now) I shudder to think of what i might have done to them because of my carelessness. It ends up that now maybe I'm a bit overprotective. Hard to know when to let go a bit and let them take the risks that come from living.

Talk about thread drift! Dan, I love hot tea and iced tea (unsweetened). I need to find some of these brands that you all have mentioned!

Rob,
They have that Liptons Red Label tea there dont they  nasty stuff. I did find some Barrys tea in Shoprite though, that was a lovely day! In the end I used to stuff a carrier bag with PG Tips, and hope they wouldnt search my suitcase and find 460 tea bags in it!

Hi Pebbs Lipton makes some yucky stuff-bland tea for the masses. :D I don't know about the Red Label stuff. My MIL buys Lipton Green Tea, which I don't really like.

Liz has patiently fielded all my questions over the last year about British teas. :D
