Teracotta floor tiles

Hi. It looks as though the plumber may have to remove some of the teracotta floor tiles on our kitchen floor because we have a leak coming from a pipe underneath. He has promised to try and be careful not to break them but will a tiler be able just to grout them in again without too much trouble.

he wont be able to remove them whole only in very small pieces have you spare ones ? and what were they grouted with ?

if they were not put down correctly they may come up whole.cut around joints first.
