Hi,
Be grateful for some advice before it's too late
I've got some Nerea wall and floor tiles from Tile Giant: crema and noce scored on the wall and noce on the floor (photos attached)
The scored tiles have a sort of rusty red 'grout' line in them, so to match we're thinking of mapei terracotta for the real grouting on the wall and floor.
Tiler has said this will look good as it is quite a brown colour grout but I just want to make sure when it dries I'm not going to end up with some horrible pinkish mess, so if anyone's used this colour before or has a better suggestion I'd be glad to hear it!
Thanks,
rob

Time's Ran Out

:welcome:barneyg - don't like the small cuts in the corner! A dark grout will emphasize this setting out.
The scored tile in the centre panel is meant to be fully grouted in whatever colour you like - be it white or terracotta.
I personally do not like the joint to be the main feature of the tiling so I'd be tempted to either match the colour of the tile or go white on the walls and lighht grey on the floor.
It is a purely personal descision but do a test area first and remember you may have to wait a couple of days for the Mapei grout to fully dry back to a final dried 'colour'.

thanks for the advice and the welcomes :D

i've actually seen the contents of a bag of grout and it was quite dark, but not being a tiler myself wasn't sure if the colour would change as it dried

i've also seen what i think was jasmine white, which is supposed to be the colour it was in the local tile giant when i saw the tiles originally, so maybe thats the way to go instead...
