We didn't gazza..we just tiled and hoped they didn't fail..lol....

But with today's building methods they are becoming more of a necessity i think to guarantee an installation on certain substrates...

I think the days of..OH!! it will be alreet missus doesn't wash these days...:lol:
I agree, certain instances...like the poor quality travertine it's an absolute must, any movement and it will show..
