Thanks again to tilers forum

[The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP]

I had a call recently, ( not the first time this has happened) a potential customer rang me to say, he had been scouring the forum for info for his latest project. He went on to say that he had viewed my profile and was impressed. He then did some more research on me and this fine forum, before deciding to contact me.


Although I have not yet secured this job, or not yet priced it. I was amazed to find how well informed this guy was, this is 100% due to his research on this site. He was on the ball regarding backer-boards/ tanking/ de-coupling membranes. Even ufh, for me it was a breath of fresh air, to meet a guy who has done his home work on this site.


My usual problem, trying to convince Joe public that by recommending good code of practice, I am not doing it to make a few more £££ or $$$. Rather than hoping I can make an installation, that will last for years. So may I say again thank you once again to Dan, Dave, and the mods, sponsors, and all the members (old and new) of this excellent Tilers forum
