At least it wasn't tiled and grouted before she said she didn't like it....then it would have been heart breaking to pull them up...it won't be the last time this happens..peeps like to change there minds all the time...at least you did the right thing...spot on mate............

Let me get this right,you had been there twice before then you turned up on the day,started clearing the room then stripping the lino and she then changed her mind.Please tell me she gave you something for your time,at least half your day rate.
You did the right thing mate not making her have something done she didn't want,I'd have done the same thing but I would expect at least that out of it,you could have been somewhere else earning money.
You've got to earn a living mate,if the shoe was on the other foot I'd have offered someone the money.
