I forgot to mention this before in the 'Future of tiling' thread (can't find it now)
This was sent to me some time ago via an American paper hanger and I dismissed it as a naff product (I don't know what it is but my guess is it might be vinyl) but today I get an email saying they have signed up to a major distribution deal in China where they will be building factories to make it.
It's basically a faux stone that is applied like a wallpaper but is then grouted (yes grouted!) to mimic stone. I haven't seen it up close so have no idea what it looks like but i'm curious now. Also just seen that it can be used on floors. I would still dismiss it but i'm hearing of more and more Americans using it and in high value properties too.
