I bought these a month ago and can vouch for them, the new slimline cordless grinder is the best one I've used

After using my new metabo grinder for a few days now , and am really impressed!
Low noise , powerful, comfortable and light on the hand, with good all round build quality but the most impressive thing for me is the on/off switch , I know it's early days but I can't see this switch jamming up , like my previous makita it's got a really solid feel about it ! also the quick release safety cover is a great feature !

Metabo is a big step up from Makita in power tool talk! Makita is good kit no doubt, much the same as Dewalt etc, but big companies like those who manufacture oil rigs etc run with Metabo, over here anyway. The best is according to those who know more than me is Hilti, but it's very exspensive if your tools are damaged out of warranty, therefore scrapped, so the next best thing is Metabo. German engineering strikes once again! A Metabo bare tool is roughly half the price of a Hilti, but at least twice as good as your Makita, Dewalt, Millwakie, those that last 3 years then die type of tool.

Had my dewalt a couple of years now, best I've had by a long way, although did notice it was surging power a bit on long cuts in 900x900 the other day, really hoping it's not on it way out. Might be asking for advice about what to buy next soon

I had a email from ffx.com and bosch have a new range out the grinder looks really slim line not much thicker than a can of red bull by the looks of things
