it works well m8 but for one size joint only, the better way of doing it is laying the entire row to be cut out, marking and cutting the whole row in one hit, saves a lot of time and the gap between tile and wall is identical, u could maybe get away with a smaller grout joint if there was skirting going along the wall to hide the gap. That said in the right circumstances, given it only costs a few quid it can do no harm
