The ultimate / best bathroom substrate possible.

If time & money wasn't a factor, what would you guys do for the ultimate bathroom floor substrate upstairs with standard wooden joists? Am i right in thinking maybe beef up the floor joists in places, 25mm ply, 6mm hardi backer board put down with flex addy? Any other preferences?

Ply then hardie, as you say, if stone is involved a decoupling membrane also.
