I took wifey to les miserables on wednesday night and I must say it is the best west end show I have seen loved the story and the sets and signing had a great night which ius your favourite theatrical show and why ?

I love the theatre, adore it...not musicals usually, but les miserables is beautiful. We are very lucky here to have playwright Alan Ayckbourn living in Scarborough and we can see bis plays before they hit the West End, and the plays do feel very fresh and exciting always. Othello I like, too

I've seen the Lion King in the west end. Visually it's quite incredible and even slightly overcoming as there's so much going on at times. I've seen quite a few and I think they're the ultimate escape from reality.......and I'm hetero :lol: Can't say what my favourite is but Blood Brothers will be up there.

I've been to see 'we will rock you' the queen musical by Ben Elton twice and it was brill. The music, the atmosphere, you really get drawn into the whole occasion. There were even people standing up in the aisles singing along! I didn't go that far but was singing along in my seat! It's set in the future and is a really good mix of live music and great acting.

Saw Arthur Askey and Dickie Henderson at Bournemouth Winter Gardens - it was great!
I love Pantomine.

Just at end of last year went to see 'Jersey Boys' at Shaftesbury Avenue - Best Yet.
Left there and walked over the road to Ronnie Scotts Club and caught the last hour and Half of Jose Felliciano - Brilliant
One of the most expensive evenings I've had - just as well I was with the wife:lol:

Been to see loads....been in loads......I think My favorite is probably Miss Saigon. The visual effects were fab and the music is out of this world. I saw the original london cast with Lea Salonga and Chris Bowman. I enjoyed Sunset Boulevard as well. I think the funniest one I have seen is probably Spamalot which had me and my daughter in stitches the whole way through. Also saw Partick Swayze final stage performance in Guys and Dolls before he passed away. He was really good as was his co star Sam Janus ... whilst it is a comedy it was made all the more poingant in the knowledge of Patrick's condition at the time.

I love musicals personally and like them all for different reasons.

I went to see Evita last year a the new Watergate in Aylesbury. Not really my thing musicals, however i did see Blood Brothers years ago and it was excellent.

Quite lucky as we have 3 good theatres within half hour drive so dont need to go into london

Worked in the theatre for 13 years so seen and worked on loads of different types of shows. The ones that stick in the memory are Les Mis, Blood Brothers, a brilliant youth theatre production of Fame and Japanese Magenko Drummers.

Also had to suffer a lot of average to rubbish stuff and I hate opera even if they sing in English I can't understand a word.
