Hi

Has anyone used ThermoLAM underfloor heating?

I have just moved into a propeorty that needs a lot of work doing, the first thing being central heating. I'm keen to have underfloor heating, and have the above system that can be used beneath wood flooring.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I believe thermolam is a heating mat designed for use under laminate or engineered wood. If it is the same product I am thinking about it is made by a company in India.

This may be a silly question.. but... We are wanting to install ufh throughout the our ground floor, which consists of two rooms - lounge, and one to (evetnually) be a kitchen/diner. When assessing how much ufh we need, do we calculate the measurements for each room separetly, i.e. 2 packs of 20m2 or do we calculate as a total floor space? And do they need to be on separate thermostats or can they be on the same one?

You need to work out m2 of each room.

It may be possible to use one thermostat but for efficient running I would recommend a thermostat for each area.
