Thin set showing through Ditra

Just installed Ditra today for the first time, i noticed blotches of the grey thin set coming through visually once set . I thought I didn't get proper coverage so I lifted half up in the little bathroom and it was 90% on the fleece? Does the thin set grey colour determine if set properly?

It shows through as it adheres to the dleece backing and even more so if you walk on it

The Ditra will go slightly darker with grey adhesive/ thinset . Mixing the thinset slightly wetter makes full contact easier
