There's a fruit bowl on the coffee table in the sitting room. In it there is: 2 stanley knives, 1 tape measure, 1 4" screw, 3 screwgun bits, 3 joiner pencils, 6 nails, 1 pkt stanley blades, 1 stubby screwdriver & a wad of receipts. That's tidier than usual :lol:

my bedside table is like your fruit bowl then Sandy, the real bane is the philips and pozi driver bits, they always end up in the sump of the washing machine!

When my £3 Tesco jeans go in the laundry box they never seem to come out!
I usually get 2/3 jobs out of a pair so at £1/job it's worth looking a bit smart when you turn up for a job ( it often means having a couple of pairs on the go at the same time).
The shelf in the utility has a row of used /clean chinese takeaway boxes for screws, Ikea pencils, spacer pegs, and blue fluff!

i've just had to drain the wash m/c as it was making a grinding noise. the missus was hoovering over me when i opened the filter and out came a 2mm spacer and a wedge followed by a kick up the backend. so i may be going down the cheap trousers, don't wash, just bin route.

9 time out of ten I will dumpy it all next to my computer on the desk. If I forget to take dosh out my pockets, the misses never fails to notice it:lol:

The kids have taken to rifling my pockets now and putting all the change into there piggy bank for Center Parcs spends, may need a bigger piggy bank as we're not going again until 9th december:yikes:
