Some of you might have noticed ive not been on the forum for a week, although most probably wont lol

Were moving house at the end of the month and rang virgin to tell them to cut off the broadband, tv and phone at the end of this month....

For some reason known only to them they cut it off at the end of last week.

We dont have a TV ariel anymore, it was taken down and thrown away when we had new fascias and soffits put up so we weve been sat here all week with no TV and no Broadband although they did manage to get the phone back on really quickly...... the only thing we dont use :mad2::mad2:

It did mean I could ring them for free all week though from it to complain that they still hadnt reconnected them

Back up and running now apart from the TV which works speoradically.

Im not looking forward to moving into the new house and having to wait for BT to come and fit a line etc......

when we moved, we were disconnected from our old house the day we moved out and connected to the new house with a new number (we moved 10 miles north - hubby was under some disillusion that we could keep the same number) the same day!

broadband however took 12 days which was outside of BT's service level agreement.. Got 2 weeks of broadband charges refunded :hurray:

It pays to complain!

Last year my mate was selling his place and the woman who bought it cut off his telephone and broadband 6 weeks before they even exchanged contracts:incazzato: at first he thought it was a fault with the line but when he rang up to find out what had happened they said, without an hint of irony, they would only speak to owner of the new line:incazzato: he was fuming and when he got hold of the woman she didn't seem to think it was a problem:yikes: my mate was without broadband for over 2 months so he spent the time ringing family and mates abroad and having some very long chats with those boy from 118 118, she must have fainted when she got her first bill through:lol:
