Thinset/ 447 Flex-a-lastic Mixture ratio?

North American Football season's over... Time to get back to work on the bathroom tile job.
When I've mixed Thinset (4 parts) and 447 Flex-a-lastic (1 Part), it seems very dry. Can someone tell me what the consistency is that I should be looking for? It's my first try at laying tile.

Hello and welcome.. not one i ahve used but some 2 part adhesives can be very tacky/thick once mixed.

Is it not a bottle per bag mix..?

Hi Dave: Thanks for responding. I assumed the ratio 4 to 1, by calculatingthe amount of OZ. in the liquid container and the amount of oz. in the thinset bag. However that amount of liquid is not enough to make the thinset wet enough to make it the consistancy of peanut butter. Since this is my first time, how would you describe the proper consistancy?

Hi and welcome. Can only comment on bal 2 part fastflex adhesive for consistancy. It seems very light when mixed correctly not dry
